Some of our strongest and most enduring community partnerships have been with youth organizations — especially America's scouting programs. The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) has proudly supported the Boy Scouts of America since 1915, when VFW Post 2100 helped establish Troop 1 in Everett, Washington.

The VFW Scout of the Year program recognizes exceptional members of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who exemplify citizenship, patriotism, and a true love of country through their leadership, community service, and personal achievements.

  3. Submit your completed application to:

  4. 📅 Deadline: All applications must be received by March 1
